HEAD & SHOULDERS NEW DAMAGE RESCUE is a Freebie I was able to score through INFLUENSTER.  If you haven't been following my last post, INFLUENSTER is a program that let's  you try out products for free and all they ask is for your opinion.  Also they have these cool badge challenges you can compete in to score more free stuff.  Anyhow, this time I was lucky to be selected to try out the new HEAD & SHOULDERS NEW DAMAGE RESCUE. INFLUSTER REVAMPED THEIR PAGE!

 

 

Influester has revamped their page.  At first i was a bit overwhelmed I must admit, I heard there were a lot of changes coming but I wasn't expecting a whole new set up.  It took some getting us to. There is lots to do.  First change is that there is a new rating system.  Each area (Beauty, Mommy, ECT) has it's own rating system. Bad news more work, good news more chances to get in a program. It's pretty much the same thing, just broken down in sections.  I think they did this to give more people chances to be able to qualify for boxes.  It's still the same set up when it comes to getting a box invite. You still test the products out and tell your Friends about it, use social media to spread the word, and still do the brand challenges. Also you still have the surveys too.. You now have the options to post reviews on many more products which also can boost your score up. The goal is to get to "100"...I am working hard...currently I am "61" :-( guess I gotta get moving. NYC New York Color

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen

Swim Suit...check, Sun Hat....check, Sun Glasses...check, and Protection from harmful sun rays...Check, Check, and double Check! Can't go to the beach with some good Sun lotion.  I usually always Bring a bottel of Hawaiian Tropic Sunlotion.  I was excited to try a new product of theirs call Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration.  I got it in my Latina VoxBox from Influenster.  It's just not Summer with out Hawaiian Tropic Sunlotion. I am loveing their new Silk Hydration formula. It's Silky smooth going on and leaves my skin so soft. I love that it last 12 hours long and that's it is water resistant for at least 80 minutes. It's light and non-greasy. It gives the recommened protect from the sun of SPF 30. I love the smell of it..it reminds me of summer and the beach. I can't imagine not packeting a bottel of this when I the ocean. I would recommend this product to others. Enjoy! VEET wax strips

Yes those are my legs and yes they look fabu because I waxed them! I use to be a die hard shave my legs kind of girl, but the universe spoke and thought it was time for a change.  In My Influenster Latina VoxBox I got a box of Veet Waxing Strips.  I have to admit I was nervous at first...I mean I still tear up when I go to the salon and get my eyebrows waxed...lol and I figured that I would embrassess my self in public if my first time getting my legs was would be at a waxing salon.  So my husband was gone for the weekend and I figure this would be a good of time if any.  It was super easy, you first take a strip and rub the strip in your hands to make it warm.  Then you peel the strip and place on the area you want to wax and pull of quickly.  I was a sight for sore eyes with my teeth clamped down and my eyes close, I was wanting for ultimate pain, but I was surpirze to find it was PAINLESS...What..LOL.  It also comes with a oil base "Perfect Finish Wipe" to remove any excess wax and I find it shines up your legs nicely.  I have Sensitive skin and it worked great for me since it's a sensitive formula.  It also has Almond Oil & Vitamin E in it which is a plus.  So the true test would come when my husband came home from his weekend trip...I asked him to rub my legs...He did..and he said " wow that's really smooth"...I smiled...mission completed...lol...I waxed on Friday and Sunday night I was still smooth...with a razor I would have not have been so smooth...Woohoo! Bath & Body Works NEW & Improved Shower Gel

I was so lucky to get a bottel of Bath & Body Works Sweet Pea Shower Gel in my Latina VoxBox from Influenster.  I already am a Loyal Bath & Body Works Customer already so this was a real treat.  I love their products and they are priced reasonable for the quality that you get in their products.  My favorite is usually the Japanes Cherry Blossom, but recieveing The Sweet Pea Scent was a nice change. I like that it's has a light smell perfect for a summer or spring time scent. They also have other great scents to try..I recommed going into shop and testing out a few scents to see what scent fits you and don't be bashful either, in every Bath &Body Works store I've enter it's always been a wonderful experience. Their staff members are always at hand to help you find the products you need and they are very knowledgeable and happy to help.  Many of these products are enriched with Shea Butter, Aloe Vera, and Vitiam E, so it's so good for your skin. It lathers up really good in the shower and you don't have to use alot which makes the bottle last longer.  Usually I like buying gifts at Bath & Body Works, so I am thinking this new scent I've tryed will be very familiar to a few people around christmas time(wink..wink). My Latina Beauty VoxBox from Influenster

This is my Latina Beauty VoxBox from Influenster. I was so excited to hear that i was selected to recieve another box( since this site is becoming more and more popular, it's becoming a little harder to get selected...but I am super happy for a chance to try out these goodies).  Anywho...In my box I got a Full size box of Veet waxing strips, Always Radiant Pads, A super cute pouch with Always Radiant Tampons, A full size tube of NYC Lip Gloss, a samll bottel of Bath&Body Works Sweer Pea Shower Gel, and a small bottel of Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration sun lotion. I was super excited when I got this box since a lot of the products I got I was already interested in trying or I was already  using them.  The Most exciting product I got would have to be the Veet Waxing Strips.  I had never waxed my legs before and was a traditional razor girl when it came to my legs.  I had always wanted to try waxing my legs, but was too scared it would hurt and I would embrassess my self at a waxing salon for crying and screaming to loudly...lol...But now I get to try it at home where if needed I can punk out and cry in the comfort of my own home...Wish me luck...

ImPress Press on Manicure

Ok next item from my Influenster VoxBox are the ImPress nails...these are good for a quick fix...if you have an unexpected date or event...you can quicky add these on.  Note you may need to file to fit your nail.  They have many colors available.  It takes less than 2 minutes to apply...Just Peel and stick and your ready to go. The many uses of Ivory

In my Influenster box I got a bar of Ivory Soap.  I have been useing Ivory ever since I was a little girl and now my little girl uses it.  She loves the smell of it and the fact that it's gentle on her sensitive skin is such a plus.  I love that this soap is inexpensive, for such a quality product you get your money's worth when buying this product.  Over the years where other products have changed and decrease the amount you buy...Ivory has never changed.  The soap bar reminds large and free from any harsh chemical that can irritate your skin.  Ivory is a trusted brand in my house that I will continue to over the years to come.  I recently learned that their are many uses for an Ivory Soap Bar.  It can be used as a facial cleanser, body cleanser, clothes and stain remover, laundry flakes, and even as a soap carving project.  Check them out on FB or Twitter for other cool ideas how to use Ivory Soap.  I would definely recommend this soap to anyone...so try it and enjoy.  I received this product complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster and Ivory as a participant in the Mom VoxBox campaign.  Thanks Influenster and Ivory for the freebie!

 

Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies

In my Influenster Mom VoxBox I recieved a Free full size sample of Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies.  As you can see from the picture my daughter was very happy when she discovered that mommy was shareing your treat she got in the mail.  I received this product complimentary for testing and review purposes from Influenster and Quaker, so here I go.  This was an awsome cookie. It was soft and it was large.  I was able to share it with my daugther.  We were both very happy with it.  My daughter was asking for more and I promised her that we would go out and buy a box.  This cookie was double the size compairing to other leading brands we tried in the past.  I love the softness of the cookie, it reminded my of fresh bakes cookies, and the best part was that I did not have to bake and clean up a mess.The very next day i went out and bought a box.  I actually warmed the cookie in the mircowave for 5 seconds and added vanilla ice cream as a added treat and my kids loved it.  Best part is that it contains oatmeal so i know that my kids are getting something healthy in them when they are snacking. I would definetly recommend going out and buying a box.  It's under $4 a box and you get your money's worth with quality and size of the cookie. So go out and indulge and enjoy. My Influenster Mom VoxBox 2012

I joined this program called Smiley360.  This site has tou join up and pick missions to try out new products.  To join is FREE!!!! The survays are to see if you qualify and they are really really short and right after you take the questionair they let you know if you are accepted for the mission.  So far I have gotten two boxes from them one from Arm&Hammer tooth paste (which gave me one full size tooth paste and 5 travel size toothpastes) and from Knorr ( with gave me a full size sample of chicken stock, large kitchen spoon, and lots of coupons).  All this was free and all you have to do is write a short review on Facebook and share it with your friens.  They also do it with Twitter as well.  I am currently waiting for my next box of  anti-aging cream from L'oreal and today I just got accepted for the Arm&Hammer Laundry pods.  If you hurry and sign up you might be able to get this mission before it fills up.  So enjoy this freebie and I will keep trying to post Freebies as i find out about them...Enjoy! Ok..So I've seen the informercial about these and I have to say as a former soda-addict...I am interested.  Coke-a-cola has too much harsh stuff in it...I mean come on it can clean a car engine, so imagine what it's doing to my insides...yikes...I figure this could be less harmful since it's bubbly water and flavored syrupe...Unfortunately...i am on a budget So when i saw this contest on http://www.militarywivessaving.com I was majorly excited.  I think winning this can bring back wat was once lost to me...the yummy feeling of bubbles in my tummy (not gas) lol.  Maybe with this I can regain soda again...so cross your fingures that i win...if not...guess i have to start the saving...lol

Palmolive Fresh Sponge Package From Influenster

Hey everyone. I got Selected for the Palmolive Fresh Sponge Box from Influenster.  The above picture is what came, unfornately the above pic is not mine since my box was deliveried by the post office destroyed. ugh!  The Mail lady acually came to my door and said, "Sorry I still have to deliever this."  I am like "really?"  everything was satuarted in soap.  I was determined to try out this product especally since the box smelled great, lol.  So I was able to save about a quarter of the bottel, dry out the coupons, and clean off the sponge.  I was able to use it for a little more than a week.  My reaction to the product is Great! Love the smell and it does keep your sponge smelling fresh.  It gives lots of bubbles, so you don't have to use alot of it...which is great...you get more for your money.  Over all I like the product and will buy some in the future.  Thanks INFUENSTER and PALMOLIVE for the box!

Hey everyone, this is my 3rd product review from the VoxBox I recieved from Influenster.  Another Item I got in my VoxBox was Kiss Nail Dress.  They are stickon nail polish with designs.  They have so many to choose from, and I was lucky to try a leopard design.  It was super easy.  You first peel the ones that fit you nail.  You then file off the excess and then your done.  It comes with a file too, so you'll have all you need.  Peel, stick, file, and go.  It's that easy and they look great.  Above is a picture of my nails...don't they look mucho cute! Thanks Influenster and Kiss for the Freebie! 

"Truvía® natural sweetener Product Review"

Hey guys here is my 2nd product review from my VoxBox from Influenster.  Truvia natural sweetener comes in indiviual packets.  This makes it easy to take where ever you go.  It's 0 Calories!!! Yeaaaa!!! I love this in my tea, coffee, and ice tea.  This is great since I crave sugar alot but I am on a diet.  It's a win-win, I get my sugar fix without all the calories. Woo-hoo!!!! Why are you rude,...You called me at 2am

Ok...here is another FML moment in my life.  So last night i finally get to sleep at midnight( I suffer bad insomina), when I get awaken by my house phone ringing(yea I still have a house phone, stop laughing...hey when the aliens take down our cell phone towers who'll be laughing then...lol) anywho...as  I was saying the phone rang at 2am.  I was in a dead sleep and the Caller ID said private.  So I picked it up in case it was some kind of family emergency. (2am calls are only for emergenies, young people who have lives(I have no life and I am kncoking on 30), booty calls( n/a since i am married and my booty call sleeps next to me everynite lol), or dumb rude people.  Guess which one I got...So this is the converstion word for word: 
Me: Hello (half asleep)
Rude female: is michale there?
Me: No there is noone here by that name.
Rude Female: who are you? (in a additude)
Me: Excuse me, but I am not giving you my information, you called me who are you. (fustered)
Rude Female: I said who are you? (really rude!!!)
Me: LOOK YOU GOT THE WRONG NUMBER SO GET OFF THE PHONE! (I hung up on her) UGH!!!!!!!!

I so feel like that dave Chappelle clip: I hate when people play on my phone...LOL...has this ever happen to you and does this piss you off like me or am I overreacting?

My Bird is Dead!

Unfreaking unbelieveable...Ugh Why do I have to wake up to my stuff in front of my house broken, because someone can't watch there kids.  This morning I woke up to my ceramic baby bird figurine broken.  First I thought maybe a cat knocked it over, but the last time I checked, cats don't pick up broken stuff and put it in a basket.  I understand accidents happen, but why they heck was someone playing around in front of my door.  I live in a house not an apartment. Come On!  I just moved here, and this is not how I want to start things off.  I am so tired of seeing my street over crowed with kids and not one adult in sight.  You won't see my kids out there unsupervised.  Go read a book and learn something like not touching other people's stuff!  ugh! just needed to vent..thanks..is it me or are kids getting badder now-a-days? what's your take?

OMG I am in Love

I am currently on a diet which suck, and it seems like every commerical with fastfood is calling out to me...ugh what's a girl to do. I have given up candy, cookies, chips, and every other yummy fatting desert out there and I am starting to get the shakes (surgar withdrawal).  One day I was watching tv(one of my many reality shows I'm addicted to Ha!) and I saw a commerical for FiberOne Brownie Bar.  They sold me when they said only 90 calories...yikes!!! could it be...will I be able to taste the heavens again of a yummy chocolate delight.  So I ran (really I did) and I grabbed a box of these and did a mad dash to the register(I think I was sweating at this point).  I raced back home at a legal driving speed I hope and ran inside my house to gobble down the goods (don't worry I controled my self to just one (on a side note: I think people who buy diet food and eat the whole box in one sitting are dumb...you might as well eat the real thing hungryface...lol).  Well to my delight this was wonderful...I think the heavens opened up and angels flew around me.  It was sooooo freaking good, I am so in love...I think I will survive this diet now as long as I keep finding items like this...go out and get a box of FIBERONE BROWINES....sooo worth it!

Arrrrrrrgggg to people who can't park a car....and I am not talking about parallel parking either. If you can't park between two lines, then you shouldn't have a licence, ride a bike.  Why should I have to try and squeeze into a parking space because someone is too lazy to pull out and ajust their car.  The funny part is that they get angry when your door touches their door.  Really?!! come on!  Usually I just park somewhere else, but when there is no other option and there is no other spaces available..I am left with no other choice but to waste 10 mins of my life to try and fix in a parking space that should have taken me a minute to park...I am so tempted to next time park behind them, block them in, and watch them from a distance get all mad when they get to their car and be like" Ha!...Ha-Ha...now you know what is feels like jerk" Anyone Else feels my pain????

Hello out there in CyberWorld! I am Linda Lisa and I have created this blogg to do a number of things, 1. To recap events in my life that really suck (this usually happens alot) and hopefully from my shame, your life will be a little brighter knowing that, thank god I am not "THAT GIRL". 2. To let off steam and rant about the things in life that really "GRINDS MY GEARS" (ex: the large population of dummys that inhabit our lovely planet. 3.
